Bio
With over a decade of experience, Ryan has performed and recorded across a wide variety of genres including metal, pop-punk, rock, jazz, bluegrass, and more.
He regularly gigs on Lower Broadway in Nashville and on the road with Nashville artist Landon Wall. His work with Landon has given him invaluable musical experiences such as performing for the Atlanta Braves, at Bridgestone Arena for the Nashville Predators, and frequently performing at Category 10 in downtown Nashville.
He has tracked drums and percussion at many studios across Nashville and Kentucky, including Dark Horse Recording, Benchmark, The Bomb Shelter, and Sawhorse Recording. He studied jazz for two years at the University of Kentucky and has studied with many great contemporary drummers.
As an active freelance session musician, live drummer, and private instructor, Whitt is dedicated to contributing to the global drumming community.
